8/6/01 I just received about 100+ reels, bait casters, salt water and some fly reels too. There's also a few brass antiques in there... If you're interested, email for a list. Perrine Free Stripping Auto Reel - Black No 30 auto reel in VG+ condition. Normal edge paint rubs, otherwise this reel mechanically perfect. Probably use with a 4-5wt line. This reel includes some early braided nylon line that looks almost new... Slightly smaller than #50. $45 South Bend - 1140 automatic fly reel EX- condition. Some very minor paint rubbing/scratches from use. These are nice display reels for your South Bend rods. Also, they actually work great, only drawback is they are heavey. Work great! $35 Heddon #57 - Automatic reel in very good condition by famed tackle maker. VG+ condition a little paint rubbed $50 Ocean City #35 - Actually this one is unmarked but I'm 99% sure it's the same as the #35. Nice little fly reel perfect for the collector/fisherman that wants a vintage reel, light in weight and doesn't want to pay an arm or leg for a Meisselbach or Hardy reel. EX condition. Will handle a 4-5wt line. $30 Other Reels 4 Pflueger-Williams Tuna Tarpon Reel - Antique Nickel Silver and hard rubber side plates with a Williams drag and a leather thumb drag. This old relic still works! marked Tuna Tarpon stamped on the side plate. Dark patina on the nickel silver. Small area on the reel foot was cleaned to read numbers. Crack in side plate and one screw head broken. $175 4 Penn Jigmaster #500 Reel - This is the classic ocean reel that is a must have for general saltwater fishing. Fast retrieve, bulletproof and durable... this one is the reel that most skippers recommend you should have. This reel is mechanically perfect with a smooth drag and nice loud clicker. Metal spool, red bakelite side plates and green knob. A wonderful user reel that's collectible too. There is light to moderate corrosion on this reel... but a lot less than my other Penn reels that I use each season. $45 4 Heddon Spinning Reel - Here's a late model reel in VG condition that works and is a Heddon... $20 J. A. Coxe Coronet 25C Casting Reel - Lightweight bait reel, way ahead of it's time. Complete with original embossed hard leather case. EX+ condition. $135 Shakespeare President Casting Reel - These reels were the top of the line in their day. More expensive than even the JA Coxe at the time. Super quality EX- condition. $45 Shakespeare Ideal Model HD 1963 Casting Reel - This is a beautiful reel cosmetically, mechanically it turns stiffly but the reel looks to be in good condition, jeweled grease caps, no missing parts that I can see, no buggered screws... It just might need only a clean and lube to put this reel back into service. This is a quality reel. $20
